Breadcrumbs are used in many dishes, mostly in coating and frying. And play a role in combining compounds and making our words more crispy and delicious. Creating breadcrumbs at home is extremely easy. You need bread and a food mixer or processor, whatever you have. So, you can use the fresh white bread or use a few days old dried bread. You have to keep this bread store dry to make bread crumbs. For this purpose, we can only use white bread. Brown bread is not suitable for making crumbs. So let’s get started.

Here I am using a few days old white breads. If you have fresh bread, you can dry it in the oven.

Ingredients

A whole bread

Preparation

Take the bread and cut it into slices of about half a centimeter. You can cut it thinner or thicker depending on your food processor performance.

Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.

Put these bread slices into the food processor until your desired consistency.

Put oven paper on the baking sheet and put the bread powder in it, and bake for about 15 minutes. Check the bread if it has moisture. You can bake it for 5-10 minutes.

After the baking, remove the tray from the oven and cool.

Now put the bread crumbs in an airtight glass jar and good for about several weeks. So,  enjoy.

Method 2

You can add garlic, coriander, parsley, and other herbs that you like, but here I am using garlic and parsley.

Ingredients

Bread

Garlic powder

Parsley

Preparation

To make perfect bread crumbs cut them into thin slices and put them into a baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes at 220 degrees.

Now remove the baking tray from the oven and let it cool.

Now put the garlic powder, parsley, and baked bread in the food processor and process until you get a fine powder of these ingredients.

Save the bread crumbs in the airtight jar, or you can store them in a plastic sealable bag in a freezer and use them whenever you want because these breadcrumbs can’t freeze.
